Bad Berka - the Goethe-Spa in the Green

In the very heart of Thuringia lies the small spa town of Bad Berka, right in the 150 km² protected area of outstanding natural beauty, the "Middle Ilm Valley" - one of the loveliest parts of the River Ilm Valley - only 12 km from the Weimar- City of the Classics, 20 km from the state capital Erfurt and the University city of Jena.

For the day care of the youngest inhabitants there are five refurbished and well equipped nursery schools with loving trained staff in Bad Berka and Tannroda. For their continuing education our children attend one of the two primary schools in Bad Berka or Tannroda and can then choose between an intermediate secondary school and a large grammar school.
